Comstock Records release
"Crooks & Straights" had their international recording debut in October 2002 on “International Country Music Sampler” CD, a "Comstock Records" release, with their version of Melvin Endsley's standard "Singing the Blues".

"Crooks & Straights" appeared at the most respected competitive country music festival in Europe, "Picnic Country - Europa Contest", in Mr¹gowo, Poland, from July 23 to 25, 2004. In the competition of bands from all over Europe, they won the first place.
Saving Country Music
In October 2013, American online magazine "Saving Country Music" listed "Crooks & Straights" among one of "10 cool country bands from Europe".
